Job Title: Workshop Manager/Mechanic

Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager/Mechanic to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles and farm equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, utilizing knowledge of diesel mechanics and electronics.
  • Supervise and train a team of technicians, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Collaborate with farm managers to identify and address equipment needs, improving overall farm productivity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in diesel mechanics and electronics.
  • Trade test certificates or qualifications in electrical work advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Xhosa language.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
