Job Title: Auto Electrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Auto Electrician to join our team at Sydsen Group (Pty) Ltd in George, Western Cape.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an automotive electrical expert to utilize their technical knowledge and skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems in various vehicles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
  • Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, battery systems, and electronic control units (ECUs).
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal electrical system performance.
  • Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals to accurately complete repairs and installations.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to resolve vehicle issues.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive electrical technology and repair techniques.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and costs to clients as needed.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • A completed trade test (Auto Electrician Red Seal).
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
  • A mechanical background.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certification or a diploma in automotive electrical systems or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license.

About the Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, depending on experience.
