Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (FEM) is seeking a skilled Medical Claims Administrator to join our team in Durban. As part of the Claims Department, this role will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective assessment and administration of registered claims under the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
This position requires strong functional computer literacy, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, as well as an impressive performance track record. Proficiency in the COID Act and workman's compensation is highly valued.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Radiography, along with active registration with the relevant regulatory professional body. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a related environment, combined with the ability to demonstrate experience and proficiency in multiple languages, are key requirements.
We are looking for someone who can deliver excellent customer focus, thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate quality orientation, reliability, and exceptional communication skills.
