A Wholesaler and retailer of automotive replacement parts are seeking a highly skilled Debtors Clerk to manage their debtors book and ensure timely payments.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Automotive Industry, with a strong focus on credit control and debtor management.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic team and make a real impact on the company's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the debtors book, ensuring all accounts are up to date and reconciled.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any disputes or issues promptly.
- Prepare and send out follow-up letters to customers who have not made payment by the due date.
- Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in the Automotive Industry as a Debtors Clerk
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
own transport (as regular travel may be required)
