About Vharanani

Vharanani is a dynamic organization seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveying Professional to join our team.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the core QS staff and operations department with day-to-day business operations. This includes improving and developing existing estimating systems, creating systems to mitigate shortcomings and risks, and foreseeing problems to mitigate risk for the business and corporate clients.

Job Requirements

  • Traditional QS software experience is essential, with the ability to implement new estimating systems.
  • Managing enquiries for tender purposes and adjudication of tenders are critical responsibilities.
  • Contract Bill of Quantities, contract administration, site measures, and cost reporting are also key aspects of the role.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in using estimating software and familiarity with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe are highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of accounting and procurement software, such as BuildSmart, is desirable.
  • Attention to detail, strong people skills, and the ability to work effectively with technical-orientated individuals are imperative.
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or higher, registration with SACQSP as a Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor, and 8+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying office are required.
