About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced CORPORATE FINANCE LEADER to join our team at Network Recruitment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our finance function and contribute to the success of our organization. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment, with high exposure to Senior Management. They will oversee all accounting operations, including invoicing and accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and local financial reporting. Additionally, they will implement group finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Group Financial Policies, IFRS and other local regulatory requirements. A strong analytical and problem-solving skillset is essential, along with excellent communication skills and proficiency in financial software and major Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all accounting operations, including invoicing and accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and local financial reporting.
  2. Implement group finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Group Financial Policies, IFRS and other local regulatory requirements.
  3. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports to senior management.
  4. Assist with the annual Legal Entity budgeting process and provide financial guidance where required.
  5. Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  6. Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely and accurate completion of all audit requirements.
  7. Monitor and analyse accounting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and ensure financial alignment, specifically EMEA Treasury, Real Estate, Accounting and Tax.
  9. Stay current with local industry trends and local regulatory changes to ensure the company's accounting practices remain compliant and effective.
  10. Manage communication with Tax Authorities and External Advisors related to Finance/Accounting matters.
