Key Accountabilities :

  • Partner with the inventory controller to execute stock counts and investigations, submitting comprehensive reports to inform management decisions.
  • Minimise stock losses by streamlining the damages process and optimising stock movement within the warehouse.
  • Prioritise damage removal, accurately documenting reasons for removal and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Identify and address stock discrepancies, including missing stock picks, negative balances, and items requiring overrides.
  • Notify the stock controller of any discrepancies, enabling prompt corrective action.
  • Conduct regular reviews of stock in the sin bin, reporting any discrepancies to the inventory controller.
  • Enhance replenishment efficiency to prevent no-stock picks, ensuring timely delivery of stock to stores.
  • Monitor and report on expired stock, working closely with management to distribute it to stores as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the inventory controller and management.
  • Analyse variance causes, providing clear explanations and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities :

  • Regularly inspect inbound stock to identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Ensure the warehouse remains well-maintained, addressing any reported issues with management.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to identify potential storage issues, bin location problems, and stock assignment concerns.
  • Explore opportunities to improve bin assignments and stock allocations within the warehouse.
  • Contribute to achieving warehouse KPIs by participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
