Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Accounts Payable / Creditors Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team based in the Cape Town CBD.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have a passion for all things payables and play an integral role in establishing best practices and policies. They will form part of the Finance Shared Service Centre and play a key role in managing the Procure-to-Pay and Purchase Order teams, leading and taking responsibility for the team servicing global operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Payment Procedures: Ensure global payment procedures and payments processes are adhered to.
  • Team Management: Supervise the team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage disputes.
  • Process Improvements: Work closely with the Manager to assist with process improvements and proactively make suggestions.
  • Creditor Reconciliation: Responsible for trade creditors reconciliation and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Promote process improvements and compliance across the team.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor systems and processes.
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensure adherence to SLAs, including regular performance reporting.
