Senior Financial Auditor

We are seeking a skilled SAICA Audit Clerk to join our team in Mossel Bay, George, or Oudtshoorn. As an Audit Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent computer skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for conducting audits of financial statements, compiling financial statements, and performing independent reviews of financial statements.

• Conducting audits of financial statements
• Compiling financial statements
• Performing independent reviews of financial statements
• Processing invoices and bank transactions
• Reconciling bank accounts, debtors, and creditors
• Preparing VAT reconciliations and submitting VAT201 returns
• Managing SARS VAT reviews and audits
• Preparing management accounts
• Maintaining up-to-date SAICA assessment progress

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Grade 12 certificate with strong marks in Accounting and Mathematics, currently pursuing a SAICA-accredited accounting degree
• A thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices
