Deputy Director of ICT Services

Job Purpose:
To manage the effective deployment of technology to all university end-users, ensuring predictable and dependable technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven leadership and strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to draft and manage comprehensive ICT projects in a complex environment.
- Extensive experience in writing business proposals and reports.
- Knowledge of megatrends in digital transformation and proven ability to undertake research in the application of technology.
- Demonstrable experience in resource management, including financial, management, and human resources management principles.
- Proven ability to identify and act on trends in IT within the business environment.
- Thorough understanding of the application of the ITIL and COBIT Frameworks.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing of ICT services, contract, and service level management.
- Experience in conceptualization and delivery of integrated digital solutions.
- Experience in capacity building, including designing and offering technical training.
Requirements:
- M + 4 Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
- Minimum of 6 years technical support experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role in a technical environment.
