Job Summary

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of our onboard pools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on all pools, including vacuuming, skimming, and chemical balancing.
  • Monitor pool water quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper sanitation levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Maintain inventory of pool supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.
  • Assist with opening and closing of pools at the beginning and end of each cruise.
  • Respond to guest inquiries or concerns regarding pool maintenance and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on pool decks.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of pool chemicals and their proper use and handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
