About the Role

This role is responsible for providing high-level financial skills combined with superior business acumen, commercial sense, and strategic intelligence. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, as well as communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Provide financial support to operations in respect of local markets and export markets.

The successful candidate will have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in a sugar environment, with a successful track record at middle management in a large organization. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) SA is required.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent financial and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial sense.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

A strong business systems/process improvement capability is required, along with good negotiation skills and knowledge and understanding of a Manufacturing Industry. Knowledge or experience on SAP is essential.
