  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, driving supply chain activities and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Timely and effectively communicate information to stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and cooperation.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with functional teams to gather data and insights, driving cross-functional collaboration to optimize demand planning and supply chain activities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare reports and statistics related to demand planning and forecasting, analyzing trends and maintaining accurate data.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and measure key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of demand planning and forecasting, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements and Competencies:
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Public Management/Logistics/Commerce, NQF LEVEL 6.
  • Experience: 8 years of Demand Planning experience, with at least 5 years in a Managerial or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, PFMA, and treasury regulations, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving and numerical skills.
