Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop detailed site plans for solar PV system installation, incorporating contract specifications, client requirements, and government regulations.
  2. Translate initial system concept ideas into fully detailed construction-ready designs, coordinating with multiple team members and customers.
  3. Balance customer solutions with standard practices, ensuring efficient and effective design solutions.
  4. Perform contractual negotiations with EPC's regarding engineering, equipment specifications, and performance/testing schedules.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 6+ years demonstrated experience working as a Design Engineer in the solar industry.
  • Previous experience in PV Power Plant Projects Execution and knowledge of mechanical installations essential.
  • Awareness of cultural differences and varying legal/regulatory environments.
  • Proficient in PVsyst and related solar performance modeling software.
Functional Competencies:
  • Applies advanced knowledge of PV systems, reports the findings of project risks, and validates adjustments to the design for EPC execution with limited supervision.
  • Uses site evaluation analysis to identify and mitigate risks and recommends product and techno-commercial solutions to improve efficiency without supervision.
Core Competencies:
  • Speaks with confidence, establishes interest and rapport with the audience and presents complex concepts in practical terms.
  • Delivers projects within the predefined scope, budget, and timelines, being accountable for implementation and/or team deliverables.
