Role Overview:

The IT Services Project Manager is responsible for effectively collaborating with project stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and scope. This role involves understanding business needs, aligning them with existing tools and standards, and developing suitable solutions. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and development phases of projects in accordance with KPMG's project management framework, while liaising with ITS and vendors as necessary. Additionally, this position requires providing visibility and reporting on project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the prioritization of the project portfolio to ensure alignment with business and IT objectives while managing associated risks.
  • Oversee projects and programs to guarantee timely delivery, adherence to budget, and fulfillment of functional requirements and quality benchmarks.
  • Lead projects from the definition of requirements through to deployment, including schedule creation, scope determination, budget estimation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate both internal and external resources to ensure projects remain within defined scope, timelines, and budgets, collaborating with project teams across various departments.
  • Prepare and secure approval for all necessary project documentation.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
  • Report project outcomes and potential risks to management as required, escalating issues based on project plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE II, PRAXIS, or AgilePM.
