We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to lead our aluminum dispatching operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with a focus on aluminum products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the aluminum dispatching department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with production and sales teams to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure seamless execution.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent delays.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient dispatching processes and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled for safe transport, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Transportation Partnerships: Negotiate rates and terms with transportation providers to secure optimal delivery solutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process, minimizing disruptions to customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all dispatching activities, including inventory levels, shipment details, and performance metrics.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise dispatching staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve dispatching processes and stay competitive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a dispatching or logistics role, preferably in the aluminum industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
