At The Talent Room, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team at a leading motor dealership in Cape Town.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Beyond financial reporting, this role requires strong analytical skills to assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasting to guide financial decision-making.

Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments and collections.

They will also ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements, including VAT and PAYE.

Maintaining accurate records of vehicle inventory is crucial, as well as reconciling physical stock counts with system records and reporting on stock movements.

As a key member of our team, the Financial Expert will conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with proven experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper in the automotive industry.

A strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks), and excellent analytical skills are essential.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, as well as possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
