The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving the growth of our FinTech and SaaS clients. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the FinTech & SaaS space in different markets across EMEA.
  • Conducting market research and prospecting to identify potential customers that match our customer's ICP.
  • Identifying and understanding the right people to reach out to.
  • Reaching out to these prospects across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and engaging them to the point where you secure an initial meeting or product demo.
  • Scheduling and joining meetings and demos with prospects.
  • Continuously refining and improving your sales techniques and knowledge of our customer's enterprise platform.
  • Collaborating with our customers, contributing to tactics, and being involved in creating the strategy of the Go-to-Market target campaigns you're involved in.

Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • 1-2+ years in a customer-facing role (ideally something sales-related) following your studies.
  • Strong demonstrable interest in sales, SaaS, and FinTech.
  • High energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for engaging with C-Level executives.
  • Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate.
  • South African Citizen.
