We are seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team at Crew Life at Sea. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for the safe and enjoyable operation of our onboard pools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily maintenance tasks on all pools, including cleaning, testing, and balancing of pool chemicals.
  2. Inspect pool equipment regularly and report any issues to the Maintenance Manager.
  3. Monitor pool water quality and take corrective action as necessary.
  4. Maintain inventory of pool supplies and equipment and order replacement parts as needed.
  5. Assist with opening and closing of pools at the beginning and end of each cruise.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to any inquiries or concerns.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of pool chemicals and their proper use and handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
