Our client, a leading international mining house based in the Northern Cape, is embarking on a large-scale flagship project and requires an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to develop and implement electrical projects related to the Process Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical projects aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Monitor and manage electrical activities at the construction site.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals in a timely manner.
  • Understand and apply electrical quality assurance and inspection systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • GCC Mines & Works Electrical certification is essential.
  • At least 7 years of experience in electrical project management/engineering within the mining industry.
  • Prior experience working on start-up/Greenfields projects.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Able to lead and mentor a diverse team.
  • ECSA electrical certification.
  • Experience with electrical installation of Crushers/Mills/Mining equipment.
  • Familiarity with medium voltage and low voltage charging and installations.
