We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Supervisor to join our publishing team at Persona Staff. As the editorial lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production editing, proofreading, and publishing of manuscripts.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in publishing, with a proven track record of supervising teams and managing multiple projects. You will be responsible for directing operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring high-quality output. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities will make you an asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production editing, proofreading, and publishing of manuscripts
• Supervise team members, assign workload, and monitor manuscript processes
• Implement and enforce systems, policies, and procedures
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Control budget information allocated to the team
• Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 5 years of experience in publishing, with previous supervisory experience
• 1 year of proofreading experience
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in journalism, communication, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or relevant field
• Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and other English-language skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
