We offer a competitive salary of R280,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Surgical Care Provision: The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and caring for patients in the surgical unit, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is maintained.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate activities effectively.
  • Inventory Management: The nurse will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, replenishing stock, and managing consumables to ensure efficient operating room procedures.
  • Patient Education: You will provide educational materials and guidance to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
  • An Enrolled Nurse qualification.
  • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse assistant.
  • Post-Op nursing experience is essential.
  • Floor nurse and Anaesthetic experience essential.
