Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for analytics business products and services.
- Prospect new business opportunities within key industries (Wastewater/Drinking Water/Oil & Gas/Power/F&B).
- Present and demonstrate analytics solutions in the field.
- Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to close deals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping distributors develop and grow the business, support, assess and drive distributors/channels performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in analytics.
- Work with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies based on customer feedback, and represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in sales of analytics solutions.
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.
- Strong understanding of analytics solutions, distributor management, and business development.
- Proven track record in hitting or exceeding sales targets: direct and indirect business.
- Ability to develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Travel within the country and across Africa (50%).
