About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive our analytics solutions business in East/Southern Africa. This role requires a deep understanding of the water industry, analytics products/solutions, and distributor management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for analytics business products and services.
  2. Prospect new business opportunities within key industries (Wastewater/Drinking Water/Oil & Gas/Power/F&B).
  3. Present and demonstrate analytics solutions in the field.
  4. Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to close deals.
  5. Act as a trusted advisor, helping distributors develop and grow the business, support, assess and drive distributors/channels performance.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in analytics.
  7. Work with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies based on customer feedback, and represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales of analytics solutions.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of analytics solutions, distributor management, and business development.
  • Proven track record in hitting or exceeding sales targets: direct and indirect business.
  • Ability to develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Travel within the country and across Africa (50%).
