Job DescriptionRole Overview

The Digital Ink Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality digital inks for our clients. This position involves working closely with our Integrations department to evaluate and optimize ink performance across various printing technologies.


Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Test Planning and Execution: Design and execute comprehensive test plans to assess digital ink performance, including testing for durability, compatibility, and overall quality.
  2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain state-of-the-art printing and testing equipment used in the print department.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments to ensure optimal ink performance.
  4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to ink performance and equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D Lab, production, and quality control, to ensure alignment and address any issues that arise.
  6. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test procedures, results, and any modifications to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements and QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (BEng/BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a testing or engineering role, preferably in the printing industry.
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with printing technologies and materials is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in using lab equipment and software for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and meticulousness in conducting tests and documenting results.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
