About the Role:

The Maintenance Manager will ensure effective and safe management of all maintenance processes, including the utilisation and management of resources in accordance with legal requirements. These resources would include human resources, available time, processes, and technical information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance team in optimizing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams for seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance of maintenance activities against defined strategies and engage with production teams for optimal work-week balance and plant output.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and motivate diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and knowledge of industry best practices.
  • A minimum of 5 years within the maintenance / engineering function in a heavy-industry environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years in maintenance management or senior engineering discipline role within this environment.
