Key Details:

  • Location: Initial deployment in Johannesburg (Weltevredenpark), followed by site-based assignment in Zwartklip.
  • Contract Type: Project-based arrangement.
  • Start Date: Immediate commencement.
  • Salary: R180,000 - R250,000 per month TCTC, contingent upon experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct the construction execution of a high-profile smelter project.
  • Ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Lead and coordinate diverse construction teams.
  • Implement optimal EPCM project management strategies.
  • Adhere to stringent safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Cultivate effective partnerships with key stakeholders.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or relevant equivalent.
  • Accredited construction project management certification.
  • More than 20 years of experience in overseeing large, intricate capital projects within the EPCM sector.
  • Desirable: Experience in smelter project management.
  • Proven track record of managing projects for leading companies.
  • Superior communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to work in challenging environments.
  • Age: Ideally 40-55 years old, maximum 60.
