Storehouse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Storehouse Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical receipt and shelving of maintenance spare parts, as well as issuing these items against valid Works Orders.

The salary range for this position is R15 000 - R20 000 per annum.

This salary reflects the market rate for a Storehouse Coordinator with the necessary qualifications and experience.

The primary responsibilities of the Storehouse Coordinator include:

• Receiving and Verifying Goods: The Storehouse Coordinator will be responsible for receiving ordered goods into the maintenance spare parts store, verifying quantity, quality, and specification against the Purchase Order.
• Shelving and Inventory Management: The Storehouse Coordinator will be responsible for shelving the received maintenance spare parts into the appropriate bin in the store.
• Picking and Issuing Spare Parts: The Storehouse Coordinator will be responsible for picking and issuing maintenance spare parts against a valid Works Order.
• Cycle Counts and Inventory Management: The Storehouse Coordinator will perform daily cycle counts (bin counts) as directed by the designated Stock Control Administrator, and monthly counts as directed by the same administrator.
• Equipment Safety and Security: The Storehouse Coordinator will ensure that only safe and suitable equipment is issued to staff, and that inventory items are organized for easy and safe access.

To be successful in this role, the Storehouse Coordinator must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate or Equivalent: The ideal candidate will have a National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification to NQF 4.
• Technical Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in technical maintenance spare parts storekeeping is required.
• Electrical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electrical parts and components is essential for this role.
