Job Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled MS Telco Engineer L2 to join our team at Dimension Data. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure remains operational.



Key Responsibilities




  • Proactively monitor and maintain client IT infrastructure to prevent technical incidents and problems.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Liaise with stakeholders to expedite diagnosis and resolution of errors and problems.
  • Investigate first-line support calls, identify root causes, and implement efficient resolutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to restore faults and update account and service manager information.
  • Provide continuous feedback to clients and update systems and portals as prescribed by procedure.


Requirements




  • Telco experience is required, with a strong background in network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • CCNA certification is a must, along with vendor management experience and relevant ITIL certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA - R/S), Cisco Certified Network Associate - Wireless (CCNA - WL), Cisco Certified Network Associate - Data Centre (CCNA - DC), and Cisco Certified Network Associate - Voice (CCNA - V) certifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
