Sales Professional

Main Responsibilities:

As a Sales Representative with E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD, you will be responsible for selling timber products to customers within a defined regional target market. Your primary goal will be to ensure superior service and quality standards are maintained in support of the company's Vision, Mission, and Values. You will secure and maintain an in-depth understanding of customers' operations to service their timber product needs through ongoing interaction with operations in support of production processes. Your tasks will include daily pre- and post-sale interaction with customers, order taking, making sales offers, monitoring orders, stock, and despatching, and following sales and marketing strategies as implemented by management. You will also be responsible for ensuring high service levels to customers, developing an in-depth knowledge of the product range and production processes, and portraying the company image in the market of professionalism. Additionally, you will interact with customers in a professional, trustworthy, and honest manner, maintaining a high level of integrity.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of customer service fundamentals, be organised with strong administrative ability and attention to detail, and have the ability to apply logic and proactively address supply chain/customer issues. You will also need to be dynamic, able to work under pressure, and manage deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact with customers at various levels and contribute during meetings to clearly articulate or communicate a point.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales function, with a strong understanding of the product and/or hardware retail trade. You will also need to be fully computer literate in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Outlook.
