Hopper Loader Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portside Material Handler to join our team at the Port of Tyne Biomass handling facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the safe and efficient transfer of biomass material between vessels and road tipper wagons, using our quayside hoppers.

Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transfer of biomass material from vessels to road tipper wagons using our quayside hoppers
- Monitor material flow and adjust as necessary to ensure efficient and safe transfer
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or delays that may arise during material transfer

Requirements:
- Proven experience in materials handling and logistics
- Strong understanding of Safe Working Procedures and Health & Safety protocols
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
