Job Overview:

Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Concrete Paving Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of concrete paving production, ensuring high-quality output and efficient site management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet targets and optimize resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Supervise staff, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Plan and coordinate plant maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report any incidents or near-misses.
Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Relevant industry experience (7+ years) and training certificates in electrical and/or mechanical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete production and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
