Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Technical Placements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded device programming and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions for clients in SA and Europe
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and systems
  • Program PIC microcontrollers and IO cards
  • Write C code for embedded systems
  • Provide remote support and maintenance for customer applications
  • Travel to site for equipment installation and commissioning

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering qualification with a focus on electronics
  • Experience with embedded device programming and C programming language
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and electronic circuit design
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
