Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to design, develop, and test radio frequency circuits and sub-systems for applications in telecommunications, aerospace, and defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop RF Circuits and Sub-Systems: Create and optimize RF circuits and sub-systems to meet performance specifications, utilizing simulation tools to model RF behavior and perform hands-on testing and validation of RF designs in a lab environment.
- Develop Prototypes and Test RF Designs: Develop prototypes to test and refine RF designs, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications.
- Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve issues related to RF interference, signal degradation, and other performance problems.
- Prepare Technical Reports and Documentation: Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and system engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Engineering Degree: Must have a relevant Engineering Degree.
- Master's Degree Advantageous: A Master's Degree would be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 Years Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience designing RF circuits and sub-systems.
- Proficiency in CAD Software: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and CAD software such as Altium Designers.
- RF Simulation Tools: Must have sound knowledge of RF simulation tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, and CST.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- RF Circuits and Sub-Systems Design: RF circuits and sub-systems design.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Technical Reports Writing: Technical reports writing, design documentation, and compliance reports.
- Collaborative Team Environment: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- RF Lab Equipment Experience: Experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA, VSG, SA, NFA.
- Proficiency in Schematic Capture and PCB Layout: Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using CAD packages such as Altium Designer.
