Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Watershed Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering a value-adding, cost-effective, and customer-focused payroll service to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly group payroll for 400 employees
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly wages for 200 employees
  • Generate monthly reports
  • Maintain People System, set up GLs and mapping
  • Investigate discrepancies in payroll
  • Administer Provident Fund and reconcile
  • Manage Bargaining Council Administration - NBCFRLI; BCMT and BCRCAT
  • Conduct Department of Labour mid-year and year-end audits
  • Submit Return of Earnings to Workman's Compensation, register new companies, and deregister old companies
  • Submit IODs to Workman's Compensation and RMAs, and administer related claims
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Matric
  • Accurate
  • Able to work independently
  • Proficient in Sage 300 People
  • MS Office suite
  • Experience with Bargaining Councils
  • Credit and criminal clear
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
