Trailer Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team at AMS in Wellington (Cape Town). The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out workshop functions and repairs to company vehicles, specifically trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and service trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Perform quality control checks on truck tractor repairs and assist with maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on trailers.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to trailer maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of BPW, HENRED, and SAF HOLLAND TRAILERS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
