Role Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Manager to join our PLC Consolidation and Technical team at JTC Group.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for new acquisitions, incorporating IRR assessments and customer relationship valuations.
  • Collaborate with third-party experts to prepare PPA reports for new acquisitions.
  • Calculate contingent consideration for new acquisitions and monitor earn-out targets.
  • Prepare bi-annual impairment assessments for the Group's intangible assets, including Goodwill and Customer Relationships.
  • Ensure JTC Group's financial reporting meets International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Liaise with auditors on accounting queries and guarantee audit deliverables are met.
  • Maintain CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Foster adherence to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Substantial experience in valuations and/or forecasting.
  • Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
