Job Title: Armature Winder / Electrical Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Armature Winder / Electrical Fitter to join our team at The Recruitment Guy in Newcastle.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, assessing, and testing electrical motors, as well as rewinding and repairing armatures and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantling and assessing electrical motors
  • Testing and rewinding armatures and electrical equipment
  • Ensuring work is efficient, accurate, and completed professionally
  • Ability to work without supervision, under pressure
  • Able to work long hours / overtime / weekends etc as required by the operation
Requirements:
  • Trade Tested Artisan (Armature Winder / Electrical Fitter or Trade Test with Armature exp.)
  • 5-7 years ++ experience
  • AC / DC Electric Motors experience
  • Medically fit & healthy (Sober minded)
  • Newcastle residency required
