Job Overview

This role is focused on developing and executing a robust Cross-Border (XB) action plan for top markets in Visa's Southern and Eastern Africa (SEA) region.

The purpose is to help Visa SEA capture opportunities in XB payments, develop and ensure execution of a robust XB action plan for top SEA markets.

As a key member of the SEA team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging local teams, MSC, and Global Cross-Border teams to find optimal solutions for SEA-specific XB-related opportunities.

  • Develop and execute cross-functional sub-regional SEA XB strategy.
  • Adapt CEMEA XB payments strategy and programs for the market.
  • Lead and execute XBAC and Ultra-High Spenders Initiatives with top issuers in SEA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with regional teams to utilize existing data assets and analytical models to increase Clients' cross-border volumes.
  2. Apply best practices from different markets worldwide to grow XB business in the subregion.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience in payments, technology, or financial services industry.
  • Knowledgeable of Visa's Cross-Border business and interested in gaining hands-on experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
