This Financial Manager General Accounting Sub Saharan Africa position involves leading the general accounting function and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with the General Accounting Manager to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Leading the general accounting function.
  2. Ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  3. Collaborating with the General Accounting Manager.
  4. Developing and implementing process improvements.
  5. Preparing reports and presentations for management.
  6. Analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement.
  7. Implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  8. Maintaining relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  9. Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or similar).
  • 5-7 years of experience in general accounting management.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO module is an advantage.
