Civil Engineering Consultant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Resident Engineer to join our team at Iliso Consulting Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in client liaison, team management, design review, construction monitoring, quality and cost control, contract administration, and QMS adherence.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage and coordinate Assistant Resident Engineers responsible for various work packages.
  • Review and approve designs and drawings to guarantee accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
  • Implement quality control measures and monitor costs to maintain profitability.
  • Administer contracts using NEC4, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to the Company's ISO9001 QMS System, driving continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in civil engineering consultancy and construction project monitoring.
  • Expertise in the water and sanitation field, including bulk water and bulk sanitation.
  • Contract administration skills, with NEC3/4 experience preferred.
  • General municipal services knowledge is an added advantage.
  • PrtEng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
  • PrcPM certification is desirable.
