Job Description

Job Title: Area Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Administrator to join our team at Brambles. As an Area Administrator, you will be responsible for driving inventory controls and compliance throughout the region, ensuring accurate data processing at CHEP service centers and on customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate stock variances and take corrective action to ensure compliance through administrative processes and minimize stock loss.
  • Ensure standardized processes are followed at all service centers and identify and report on hire stock discrepancies as well as on raw materials and trading stock.
  • Contribute to high data accuracy levels, fewer transactional errors, and overall increased customer satisfaction.
  • Report on all expenditure for up to 20 plants and coordinate facilities management activities in the area.
  • Provide guidance on all stock control, purchase-to-pay processes, and administrative requirements at plant level.
  • Monitor Functional Outsourcing production sheets and ensure activities are accurately captured on SAP.
  • Ensure all required plant-to-plant and material-to-material swaps are done accurately via relevant SAP transactions.
  • Consolidate data for Quarterly Incentive Bonus Schemes and distribute Dashboards weekly within set deadlines.
  • Perform all tasks relating to monthly maintenance and processes for Operations and ensure there is complete understanding of underlying systems.
  • Respond to relevant audit reports and close off any applicable findings.
  • Train new employees involved in administrative functions and provide content for new courses to be developed by the Training department.
  • Project support as required – testing, feedback, training, and implementation in the region.
  • Maintain up-to-date SOPs.
  • Responsible for ensuring all waged employee files are kept up to date at all times.
  • Travel and accommodation arrangements for regional personnel.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business Administration or Supply Chain.
  • 3 years general administrative experience.
  • Experience in stock control and system processes in a highly pressurized environment.
  • 3 years SAP experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, BW, Siebel, Basware, Coupa, MPS, FDE/ESP [COLT2020],
  • Ability to simplify processes.
  • Personal – Team player, accurate, reliable, proactive, self-starter, work under pressure, ability to deal with numerous activities simultaneously, numerical, good communication skills, patience, eye for detail, and action-oriented.

Preferred Education: High School

Preferred Level of Work Experience: 3-5 years
