About the Position

Legal Aid South Africa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Law Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal representation to clients in High Court proceedings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve complex civil matters.
  • Train and mentor junior lawyers to enhance their skills.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • An admitted attorney or advocate with a strong background in civil law.
  • A minimum of seven years' post-qualification experience, including five years of post-admission experience.
  • A minimum of four years' High Court experience or six years' Regional Court experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
