Transportation Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a "Owner Driver" at Buffalo International Logistics. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4+ years of driving experience
• A valid driver's license with at least 6+ years of experience
• Age 30+ years old
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Basic computer knowledge and smartphone proficiency
• Own vehicle (preferred but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of route planning and navigation
• Excellent customer service and satisfaction skills

Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is in good working condition, including regular inspections, servicing, and repairs as needed
• Safety: Operate your vehicle safely, following traffic laws and regulations
• Compliance: Comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing the industry
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, being punctual, courteous, and professional in interactions
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work, including invoices, receipts, and logbooks
• Financial Management: Effectively manage finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking expenses
• Time Management: Plan routes and schedules efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
