The successful candidate will be a member of a growing corporation tax specialist team, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality tax solutions. As a TAX PROFESSIONAL, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate tax compliance work: Manage a portfolio of clients, including standalone companies and groups, ensuring accurate and timely tax returns.
  • Liaising with HMRC: Effectively communicate with HMRC on queries into tax returns, resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Basic introduction to tax advisory work: Assist managers in providing tax advisory services, including research and development tax relief, group tax planning, venture capital tax reliefs, and share schemes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified/Nearly Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent): Possess relevant experience in corporation tax, either in a general practice role or as part of a corporate tax team.
  • Relevant corporation tax experience: Hold at least ATT level qualification or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in corporation tax.
  • Microsoft suite skills: Proficient in using Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Alphatax knowledge: Familiarity with Alphatax is preferred but not essential.
