Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Motion/Animation Designer to join our team at Ogilvy South Africa. The ideal candidate should have a great creative sense of social platforms and the ability to build all kinds of social media assets. They should be skilled in common programs such as After Effects, Premiere, Cinema 4D, and other tools like Unreal or AI. The successful candidate must be able to independently realize projects from concept to final delivery.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create visually engaging motion graphics and animations for social media platforms
  • Work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure that all work meets client requirements and is delivered on time
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to final delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in motion design and animation
  • Ensure that all work adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards

The essential qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Animation, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design and animation
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop
  • Experience with 3D software such as Cinema 4D and Unreal
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in motion design and animation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics
