Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing incoming medical aid claims.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the claims department to achieve shared goals.
  • Processing claims on the Oracle platform, adhering to predetermined standards and business processes.
  • Validating claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards.
  • Contributing to departmental reports and driving continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Matriculation certification.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • In-depth understanding of medical aid assessing procedures.
  • Experience working on the Oracle platform (an asset).
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a claims assessor (an advantage).
  • Knowledge of industry standards, including BHF, Tariff Guide, SAMA, and ICD10 codes (an advantage).
