Job SummaryThis role involves designing and developing mechanical engineering services for data centre / industrial type buildings, preparing design tasks, reports, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and tender documentation.
Main Responsibilities- Design and Development: Designing and developing mechanical engineering services, preparing design tasks, reports, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and tender documentation.
- Project Execution: Performing site inspections, attending meetings, measuring and compiling of bills of quantities, and assisting in commissioning processes.
- Technical Expertise: Providing expert contribution as project member, senior or lead, providing technical and administrative support with preparation of bid submissions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all quality system procedures are followed in the production and issuing of designs, costing, drawings, and standard details, monitoring quality to guarantee delivered services/products are in line with all relevant (internal and external) guidelines/procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Master's degree.
- Professional registration with ECSA is preferred for Senior / Lead position.
- Minimum 0-3 years of junior experience, 4-7 years of mid-level experience, 8+ years of senior experience, 10+ years of lead experience in a consulting engineering environment.
