Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and comprehend functional areas in depth, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with diverse team members to understand and resolve issues related to each functional area, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Interpret and support code for functional areas at a high level, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate functional area capabilities to the team, providing training and support as needed.
  • Take responsibility for configuration management, ensuring that systems are properly configured and optimized.
  • Evaluate tasks that imply changes to the business function, requiring new setup or potentially affecting upstream/downstream components, including reviewing bug fixes and examining and approving the Architectural Specification Document.
  • Work closely with team members to identify new business requirements and design business solutions, preparing Solution Design documents and identifying potential roadmap items for future development.
  • Keep up with industry regulations, advancements, trends, and best practices, ensuring that the team is always up-to-date and informed.
  • Deliver business/insurance training (Train the Trainer) and provide support to team members on functionality and configuration.
  • Collaborate with the client Product Owner as a stakeholder and work with Testers (internal and client) and regression teams.
  • Facilitate consultations with various team members to ensure that the client takes ownership of their issues.
Requirements
  • BEng Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is required.
  • Proficiency in the following areas is necessary:
    • Composing requirement specifications for information systems.
    • Possessing end-to-end experience of the development lifecycle, including testing and training.
    • Familiarity with UML terminology, particularly in relation to use cases and activity diagrams.
    • Demonstrated expertise in interacting directly with end-users.
