Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
- Conducting regular screenings of employees and visitors for Covid-19 symptoms.
- Recording and submitting results to the Branch Manager.
- Maintaining accurate records and logs of employees and visitors who refuse temperature checks or do not answer questions.
- Providing support and guidance to employees on Covid-19 protocols and procedures.
- Staying up-to-date with latest developments and guidelines on Covid-19 prevention and control.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must hold a Matric certificate (NQF level 4) and a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or Nursing and Paramedic. Previous experience in a medical setting will be advantageous.
