About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Operations, Road Logistics to join our team at DSV. As a key member of our Secure Division, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of the Secure Division objectives through effective communication, measurement, and motivation of staff. They will also interface with shared functions to ensure continued cooperation and interactions.

In addition, the Senior Manager will manage and deliver on client commitments based on agreed strategy, manage costs and productivity within the division, and ensure compliance to internal and external controls and other KPIs as set and agreed upon.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' people management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management, particularly logistics & warehousing and projects
  • IR related issues
  • Customer relationship management
  • Transport management
  • Courier operations

Qualifications:

A Matric certificate is essential, along with a Diploma or Degree in Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain, and/or Business Management/Administration.
